CUSDWatch: CUSD to Discuss Land Purchases and Sales in Closed Session at the Wednesday August 23, 2017 BOT meeting.

This is the purchase of the Esencia K-8 school site property where CUSD is accused of gifting the Ranch $13 million in taxpayer funds by agreeing to pay $2.4 million per acre for the 14 acre site ($33.86 million). CUSD valued the land as if it had 100 homes on it. This is the subject of a OC DA investigation. After being caught CUSD has agreed to get two new appraisals and this is probably a discussion of the new appraisals and price.
