I guess Teachers are threatening a Strike because they want 100% of the Budget! This is why parents are forced to fundraise for ART- MUSIC- SCIENCE- PE... and to pay to Park on Campus, and to ride the bus etc.
HOW DID WE GET TO A PLACE WHERE 100% OF A SCHOOL DISTRICTS BUDGET GOES TO EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION?
The State of California limits funding to 2007-08 levels of funding + inflation not to be reached until 2021. The State has stolen $1.56 billion from CUSD alone- it is time to demand FAIR FUNDING from the State of California!
