PUBLIC HEARING OPEN at 77:46 Public Hearing Open at 8:31 pm BLUE CARD: at 78:11 Dawn Urbanek Public Disclosure Requires that the Public receive Notice of a Public Hearing. CUSD is putting the Notice at Bottom of the web page where the public would need to scroll to find it. CUSD is not sending the notices via e-mail or in any newsletters. Unions give much more detailed information to members than CUSD does to public. They do not just specify the Articles to be negotiated. TRUSTEE COMMENTS at 79:35 Gary Pritchard - clarify procedure for Ms Urbanek at 79:40 Superintendent Vital CUSD cannot negotiate in Public. CUSD is only allowed to disclose the articles- not the specificity of what is being negotiated. Be very careful not to negotiate in public. School districts must negotiate behind closed doors between bargaining units and management on behalf of Trustees.
