WARNING TO PARENTS AND STUDENTS... BE AWARE OF THE FOLLOWING In order for a student to receive a bump in their GPA for Honors course work, CUSD was required to submit classes to UC Doorways for approval. If an Honors class is not pre-approved, students will not receive the bump in GPA for purposes of applying to a UC or CSU school. UC and CSU schools will re-calculate a students GPA without the grade bump included. This will effect a CUSD students ability to compete with their peers for admittance into a UC or CSU school. This will also effect a students ability to compete for merit money. CHECK YOUR TRANSCRIPTS! CUSD has until September to submit coursework to UC Doorways for 2018-19. Demand that they submit honors course work so that students will get a GPA bump for taking Honors classes.
